a number which gives a remainder of 1, when divided by 2,3,4&5 Find the smallest such number, if it exists?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you excluding 1? Because if so, I believe the next smallest number fitting that criterion is 61, followed by 121, 181, etc. But, if not, then it's just "1"....

You can find the LCM of the numbers given to get 60 then you add 1 to get 61,then when you divide 61 with each of the numbers you will get a remainder of 1.
