Write five sentences that meet the following guidelines:

Sentence 1 must use the word "who" properly.
Sentence 2 must use the word "whom" properly.
Sentence 3 must use the word "affect"properly.
Sentence 4 must use the word "effect" properly.
Sentence 5 must demonstrate parallel structure.

like just the basics of what each type means , and like an example of each one, it says it in out book but the way they word it is just confusing to me, maybe im over thinking it but ive been stuck for like a hour .-.

1. Who made the birthday cake ? (Who is a subject pronoun like he,she, and we. " Who " is used to ask what person does the action or which person is a certain way.)

2. Whom are you going to invite ? ( Whom is an object pronoun like him, her, and us. " Whom " is used to show which person receives an action.)

3. The rain affected Amy's hairdo. (affect means to influence)

4. The sound effects were amazing. (effect means as a result)
Most of the time, affect is a verb and effect is a noun.

5. Mary likes hiking, swimming, and bicycling. OR Mary like to hike, to swim, and to ride a bicycle.
Parallel structure means using the same pattern of words to show that two or more ideas have the same level of importance. Do not mix forms....this would be incorrect : Mary likes hiking, swimming, and to ride a bicycle.
