How did the discovery of gold impact the racial demographic of California?

Well, many immigrants were rushing from everywhere to get this gold. From the East to the West. Immigrants from Asia, Europe, and other countries came to America to get ahead and get onto the gold rush in California. The racial part started to increase because so many people who had different pigments were there.
