Small physics question! If a pedestrian moves 6.6 km east and then 10 km north. part 1: what is the magnitude of the resultant displacement vector? part 2: what is the direction? ( between -180 and 180) I just need help on the part two:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the direction is on a vector (3.3,5). If you want to convert this to angular representation then you just need to get the arctangent of the slope of this vector. arctan(5/3.3) is your answer.

I'm sorry this is a late reply but thank you!
