in short....mRNA is sandwiched between the 2 subunits of ribosomes....the ribosomes and many other factors help in reading the codon on the mRNA. according to the codon specific charged tRNA are brought in and a peptide bond is formed between 2 amino acids. in this manner the polypeptide increases.
