Rubi works at a party-planning company and makes $7.50 per hour. Her weekly paycheck also includes a $5 bonus for every party she schedules. Her $265 paycheck last week was for 30 hours. How many parties did she schedule? Explain how you found your answer.

7.50 x 30 = 225.
265 - 225 = 40.
40 / 5 = 8.
