The role of the Senator in law making process? (list facts, not a paragraph.) The role of the Representative in law making process? (list facts, not a paragraph.)
Lol can't believe I don't know this. I'm gonna look this stuff up XD
A United States senator plays an important role in the law making process. A senator can introduce a bill or law to congress. The senator votes on whether to pass or veto a law. The Senate and House of Representatives can even override a Presidential veto if a two-thirds majority of both houses of Congress vote to approve the law or bill. Heres a paragraph! xD
Kfins99, what does that even mean, I am not taking that as "rude" but I don't think everyone knows this staff. Even you don't... just looked up... (good research though!!!!!!
what is the difference between senator and rep... don't copy paste a huge passage, explain.
Nah, it wasn't towards you, I said it because I learned about this like just last year! So I can't believe I don't remember! But I understand that some people don't actually know this stuff. Even myself not knowing it, so it wasn't towards you or anything, Sorry if you interpreted it that way
OK, I see.........anyway...
Alright, revenue bills must start out in the House of Representatives. Also, the removal of executive or judicial officials begin with a bill in the House, not the Senate
difference between senator and rep.
Okai lol the main difference is that they both perform different roles. The Senate has more control over the purse strings while the House has more power over the law.
what are the purse strings?
The financial support/aid
And also, the house has 435 members compared to the Senates' 100 members
do you know any other differences btw senators and reps besides that?
