That's a great drawing, i am surprised that's your first one. It doesn't suck at all, what you created is actually called a "chibi". Look it up and you'll see how the chibi you created is a great design :). I would recommend try work different angles to give your work perspective and side views but other than that very impressive in my opinion.
P.S I also started by drawing chibis, they are a fun way to create posters, gift cards, creative projects and express what you feel and see around you :).
