Does anyone know of a good resource for learning about normal probability plots? I can't figure out why the Left- and Right-skewed graphs look the way they do. Any resource is appreciated.

I'm not sure about the first question but I think learning the empirical rule might help.. Usually a graph will be skewed left or right because there are outliers that are pulling the graph towards that direction.
