What conjecture can you make about the sum of the first 30 odd numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'd conjecture.. hm. not sure. what would you conjecture, dan815? that the sum is even?

OpenStudy (dan815):

that their addition is not a prime

OpenStudy (dan815):

i was gonna say even too but it got stolen :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i like your conjecture a lot better

OpenStudy (dan815):

funny we dont know what a conjecture is though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A conjecture is the conclusion you reach using inductive reasoning

OpenStudy (dan815):

you can make some more conjectures like the number of factors it can have, and what is the probabilty +1 that number is prime

OpenStudy (dan815):

ya then without evaluating since you know its even what is the change its also divisible by another even number between these 30 odd numbers

OpenStudy (dan815):

chance*

Thanks :)
