Help Please!! An athletic field with a perimeter 1/4 mile made of rectangle with semi circle on both ends. Find the dimensions x and r that yield the greatest possible area for the rectangle. I know the p=2x+2pi(r) and radius in terms of R is r=x/2pi. But I dont' know how to set this up. Anyone Help......thank you.
