Is it your understanding that we are not to find the vertical asymptotes? @rach_ell
well the curve doesn't have a horizontal asymptote, it has an oblique asymptote, which can be found by polynomial division. the vertical asymptotes are also needed... so find what values in the domain can't occur in the denominator...
