Find the horizontal or other asymptote of the graph of the function when |x| is large, and find a viewing window in which the ends of the graph are within 0.1 of this asymptote.

\[f(x)=\frac{ x^3+3x^2-4x+1 }{ x^2-x }\]

Directrix (directrix):

Is it your understanding that we are not to find the vertical asymptotes? @rach_ell

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the curve doesn't have a horizontal asymptote, it has an oblique asymptote, which can be found by polynomial division. the vertical asymptotes are also needed... so find what values in the domain can't occur in the denominator...
