if we want to find the probability for number of bad checks in 3 days ... do we restate the number of bad checks in terms of checks per day?

spose a bank receives on average 12 bad checks a day; whats the probability of getting 15 bad checks over any 2 consecutive days?

does the average become 24 for the period? and calculate at x = 15?

and answer key is: 0.014575, so im guessing thats correct :)
