Which of the following is a major difference between lactic acid and alcohol fermentation?

OpenStudy (cleonideu):

Fermentation- a form of anaerobic (without air) respiration. This process only produces 2 ATP (energy) for each sugar used (which is why cellular resp. is better b.c it produces 32 ATP). there are two types: 1) lactic acid - the waste products of this are lactic acid and water. 2) alcoholic - the waste products of this are alcohol, carbon dioxide, and water. i hope this helped. the only defference i think is the waste products but im not 100% sure.
