It will be a function IF for each x, there is only one y associated with that x-value.

It is clear from your set, that for each value of x, there is one value of y. So it is a function.


Note: The set {(0,3), (-6,4), (0,9)} is NOT a function because when x = 0, y can be 3 and 9.
