the midpoint of the line segment from P1to P2 is (-1,2). If P1 =(-7,8), what is P2?

You have to count the distance form (-7,8) to (-1,2). There is probably a formula for it but I don't remember what it is. So from -7 to -1 there are 6 units and 8 to 2 there are 6 units. Then I'm pretty sure you add the (6,6) to (1,2) to get P2
