it is not A or B, because they did NOT remain catholic
Calvinist believed that if you were a good and just person you would go to heaven and if you were a sinner you would go to hell without forgiveness. (they were Christians basically.)
I think that C is the most relevant eliminate A and B, 
D? how can we say that Calvinists believed they were doing God's work because they stayed in Geneva? those have nothing to do with each other.

I think C. To make the sin forgiven by giving sa donation to a church.
