Need Help with these problems: 1.) 5x < 15 2.) -6t > 18 3.) y/3 < 2 4.) -h/4 < 6 5.) 25.5g > 102 6.) -3/5n > -9 7.) 44.5 < 2.7d 8.) -17.1m < 13.8

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Seriously? You're not going to try even one? I'll do #2, two ways. -6t > 18 Divide by -6 and remember to reverse the inequality because -6 < 0. t < -3 Okay, Method #2 -6t > 18 Add 6t 0 > 18 + 6t Subtract 18 -18 > 6t Divide by 6 -3 > t It is almost as if the inequality reversed itself!!

1.) 5x<15 divide by 5 x<3 2.) -6t>18 divide by -6 t<-3 (flip because of the negative) 3.) y/3<2 times by 3 y<6 4.) -h/4<6 times 4 -h<24 divide by -1 h>-24 5.)25.5g>102 divide by 25.5 g>4 6.) -3/5n > -9 times by -5/3 n<15 7.) 44.5 < 2.7d divide by 2.7 d>16 13/27 8.) -17.1m < 13.8 divide by -17.1 m< -(46/57)
