(2 + x)( 4 - 2x + x^2)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

this what i will suggest to you, 2( 4 - 2x + x^2) + x( 4 - 2x + x^2) that is the same thing. then add like terms that you get. Do the process carefully and tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

(the answer would look really simple when you do it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^3+2x^2-3x+8

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I don't hink so, factor it out without trying to add or subtract a/t just right all the terms out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't factor lol It's the hardest thing for me.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I factored out 2 ( 4 - 2x + x^2) and got 8-4x+2x^2 then I factored out x ( 4 - 2x + x^2) and got 4x-2x^2+x^3 write the terms out 8-4x+2x^2+4x-2x^2+x^3 can you see the like terms?
