Do you know how to find a perpendicular slope?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
I mean a slope of a line perpendicular to...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
show me all the steps to answer plz
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
slope of a line is a, you need to find the slope of a line perpendicular to that.
you take a multiplicative inverse of a, or 1/a
and flip it's sign if it was negative it becomes positive and if it was positive it becomes negative.
Can you find the slope of a perpendicular line?

I would suggest to graph the line first |dw:1382730307469:dw|
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
I plugged -1, 0 and 1 for x to graph it.

oh ok
