4k - 1> -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4k-1 > -3 , add 1 to both side, 4k > -2 , divide both sides by 4 , k > -2/4 simplify -2/4 by dividing the numerator and denominator by 2 , k > -1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4k - 1 > 3 move -1 to right by adding + 1 +1 4k > 4 now divide ------ 4 4 k > 1 <-------- answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you used positive 3 instead of negative 3 which makes a big difference :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeahh. ali1029 is right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that case 4k - 1> -3 +1 +1 4k > -2 -------- 4 4 k > -0.5 k < -0.5 or what ali said

OpenStudy (anonymous):
