Will give medal and fan you. Which statement best compares the momentum of a stationary truck and a car in motion? A) The moving car has less momentum than the stationary truck B) The moving car and the stationary truck have the same momentum C) The moving car has some momentum, but the stationary truck has none D) The stationary truck has momentum, but it is less than that of the moving car

are you wanting to check you answers, or you need help somewhere?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the answer D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is the second best answer, but it's not D remember that momentum = mass*velocity so when an object is stationary, it means it has no velocity. does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep! ^_^

Thank you for helping! (:
