find the subset sets {5,10,15}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many subsets can you list?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just find all of them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many can you find?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well get you started... {} , {5}, {10}... can you finish?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well??

Does constinmiller know what a subset of a set is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No reply? I think not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

@constinmiller hi, so a subset means, 'how many combos can you make with the numbers given' for example, lets say my numbers were {2, 4}, then my subsets will be: {} {2} {4} {2,4} so a total of 4. now, what if I had 3 numbers, like your question has, {2,4,6}. my sub sets will be: {} {2} {4} {6} {2,4} {2,6} {4,6} {2, 4, 6} and this is the last combo, or subset possible, so a total of 8 do you see the 'combos' of what I can make?
