So plot b at (12,2) and c at (6,2). They are colinear (all on the same line). C is the midpoint of pb, so I counted there were 6 units between c and b. So then count 6 points back on the number line to get p... which should be plotted at (0,2)Then it says that p, now plotted at (0,2), is the midpoint of qb. So you can find q by counting how many units are inbetween point p and b, which is 12. Count 12 back on the number line (x-axis, sorry) and that will put q at (-12, 2)So now you just have to find a. I know the length all the way from q (-12, 2) all the way back to b (12, 2) is 24. If the length of ab is 28, point a is at (-16, 2), which puts it 4 units away from q
