Well, I'm wondering if this question is so easy then why aren't you doing it? :) ----------- I think of the volume of a right circular cylinder as being the area of the circular base time the height of the cylinder (soda can) so let's see which option looks like that. @Starr_Dynasty

So, looking at V = pi*(a^2) * (3a) on the image. Compare: V = (area of base)*height as I think of it. It appears that (3a) is the height.

a is the radius of the base; the height is 3a. So, the height is three times the radius of the base. Is that what you are saying?
