If a polynomial has one root in the form a+√b, it has a second root in the form of a/√b. True or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ranga would this be false?

OpenStudy (ranga):

Yes that would be false. But the second one is a / root b right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :) does the effect the answer?

OpenStudy (ranga):

I was just making sure there was no typo in the question. So it is false. But instead of division if it had been a subtraction then it may be true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that makes so much sense! thank you so much!

OpenStudy (ranga):

you are welcome.
