so you need to some values mean of 85 (83 +91 +x)/3 = 85 solve for x. Thie will be the lowest score needed for a anverage between 85 & 90 mean of 90 (83 + 91 +x)/3 = 90 solve for x This is the highest score needed so the score will need to be between these values.. hope this helps
