Help with adding radicals?

So I'm not sure how to do this, can I add up the radicals and the regular numbers and go frmo there?

bring the sqrt of 3m-8 to the other side, and square both sides,
then you don't need my help.

(the same as subtract the sqrt of 3m-8 from both sides

I got m = -7/10..is that right?

I don't think so, when you square both sides, you get 7m-1=3m-8
right?
