I thought I had completed this problem but then I realized that it's negative and not positive ><
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
lets work the domain first
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
wat all values u can give to f(x) ?
OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):
like f(x) = -5x^3?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
\(\large f(x) = -\frac{3}{5x^3}\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
you can give it any value as input, except 0
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
cuz x=0 wud make the bottom 0. and 1/0 is undefined
so domain is all real values except 0
OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):
ohh okay
I wasn't sure if the domain changes because I had a negative
I had Domain: {x l x E R, x cannot equal 0}
Range: {f(x) l f(x) E R, f(x) cannote qual 0}
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
domain wont change,
but range can change
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
but for this particular function, range also wont change, cuz this function is symmetrical about origin
both f(x) and f(-x) will have same range
