What are the critical points of f(x)=x+6/x ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to use the quotient rule, to find the derivative. then set the derivative equal to 0. so f(x)=u/v then f '(x)=(vu'-uv')/(v^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then what do you get for your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith , can you finish this for me please? it's pretty late here!

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Do you know how to use the quotient rule...? See @sarahusher's post, and actually try it yourself.
