What does each branch control over the other?

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

Legislative checks Executive - They can overturn a veto with certain amount of votes. Legislative checks Judicial - They can appoint lower courts and have to approve Supreme Court justices. Executive checks Legislative - Can veto a bill. Executive checks Judicial - Can appoint S.C. justices (but they must be approved). Judicial checks Legislative - Can declare something unconstitutional. - I think this goes for executive as well. They share powers by splitting up the different responsibilities. For example, legislative makes a bill, the president can sign it or veto it, but then the judicial can declare it unconstitutional.
