Can anyone tell me if this matches subliminal messaging? I wrote this for a homework assignment. Just want to make sure.

"Subliminal messaging is expressed in the story when Mrs. N enters the store and sees a unique costume in the store. She sees a strange symbol on a costume but doesn't think much of it. Her husband, who saw this symbol before, points out that the symbol upside down says, "Sex is good." Horrified, Mrs. N frowns and moves on. Subliminal messaging is expressed because there is a message that Mrs. N wasn't conscious of but was there."
