Given the following blackbody curve graph, what color will Star A be? Blackbody radiation graph for Star A, which has a surface temperature of 17,000 degrees Celsius. I think it'll be yellow.
Well, the graph is just pointing to the shape of the curve, not to the spot right above the orange-yellow region. If the peak of the curve is at approximately 400 nm then blue is going to be the color that is most prevalently observed.
