Why is vinegar used in food preservation? A) The high pH and high acidity of vinegar destroy bacteria. B) The low pH and low acidity of vinegar destroy bacteria. C) The low pH and high acidity of vinegar destroy bacteria. @agent0smith

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

it has a low pH, because it's acidic, but i'm not sure if you'd call it highly acidic or lowly acidic... but i'd prob still go with c just because it makes more sense (highly acidic to kill bacteria vs lowly acidic)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C Was correct, thanks again Agent0Smith!! :) I'm off to History now, you good at that? Hah.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

nope, not at all :P
