OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

I have a question relating to Gaussian surfaces. Anyone familiar with this concept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Learned about it awhile ago, but I may be able to assist depending.

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

I forgot my question. Lol

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well If it's a gaussian surface enclosing a charge, it doesn't matter what shape it is, the divergence of the electric field from that charge is always going to be the same based on what the charge is. It's something like Qinternal/permittivity of free space.
