So it looks like you got everything right except for 3: I would say a bar graph would be better since the category (or axis) of states is not continuous. Usually a line graph is helpful when the bottom axis (the independent variable) is something that is continuously measurable (i.e. time, temperature, pH, pressure) instead of a discrete non-continuous variable (i.e. different state, car models, political party, etc).
