y=x^2+3x+2 write a polynomial function in standard form with the given zeros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the answer is X^2 +3xy = -2 because standard form is Ax + By = C and A has to be positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u gotta find the 0s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the zeros are x = -2 and x= -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

howd u get that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i used my graphing calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what you do to find the zeros is to set the given equation = to zero. then factor it so you get the 2 binomials. then set each binomial = to zero and solve for the variable. the answers you get are the zeros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do u put 2 binomials n that problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to factor a polynomial? if you do when u factor u get to binomials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what math are you in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

algebra 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should no how to factor, im sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u plz help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry but its kind of hard how to explain a very significant topic in words. i m trying to find a video or something for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if that doesnt help this one definitley should http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJvrhlqwCr0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
