The success of the English colonies is due to all of the following except _____. the abundance of natural resources the discovery of gold the fertile soils the location near the ocean and lakes ties to England

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

that was later on kfins99, because gold was more out west. it was the ties to england

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The natural resources helped them build the colonies up The fertile soils helped them produce farms and plantations The location near the oceans and lakes gave them seafood and water to drink from The ties to England helped with trade B)the discovery of gold

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Gold wasn't found until later on, when they started moving more out west. Once the english colonies came to North America, they still had the ties to england for support when they needed, until they started to rebel and become our own country.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, all of those choices are options that helped the colonies EXCEPT the discovery of gold. The discovery of gold didn't help the colonies
