Determine which consecutive integers dod not have a real zero of f(x)=x^3-9x^2+23x-14. a.(4,5) b.(-1,0) c. (3,4) d.(0,1) THNX PPL!!!!

I don't understand exactly what is being asked but my guess is -1,0. although i still don't know what exactly the question even means.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You have to plug in each x value one at a time. eg: (4,5) first plug x=4 into x^3-9x^2+23x-14 then plug x=5 into x^3-9x^2+23x-14 if the result from x=4 is positive, and the result from x=5 is negative (or the first is negative and the second is positive) there's a zero in there somewhere.
