hi, i would like to buy a children beginning fundamental programming tutorial book. Would you recommend a title?
hi thisSucks: good idea for site. thank-you for tip.
www.java.com has some stuff for kids to learn (java) programming.
hi rsmith6559: i'll look into it. thank-you for tip.
@dumnut as beginner he should start with "c" Programming book is "LET US C" by Y.KANETKAR.
"C" is quite a difficult first language to learn, especially at a young age. You could look at some languages like Scratch or Ruby, which is a lot easier to learn at a young age :) Ruby can be learned for free at CodeAcadamy or from other sources if you google it online. Scratch is a drag and drop based language which you can also find easily online :)
t-y for tip saurav151. hmm, ruby learning from codeacademy sounds interresting. i'll also look into scratch. t-y for tip PvM_Jester
Two of these three books were made with a younger audience in mind: http://inventwithpython.com/
hi e.mccormick: good idea. t-y for suggestion.
