direct or inverse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Direct means as x gets bigger, y also gets bigger. \(y = kx\) Inverse means as x gets bigger, y gets smaller. \(y = k/x\) So which is it, based on that? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Direct? but i also have one last graph one has to be direct and one has to be inverse.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the 2 graphs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it's direct. The second picture you posted won't load for me. It gives an error.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it says: x y 2 20 5 8 8 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, same thing. Look at x. As x gets bigger, does y get bigger or smaller?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHH okay lol i have to finish these assingments or else i dont celebrate haloween please help me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer my question and you'll be able to figure it out. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

smaller

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right. And remember. Direct means as x gets bigger, y also gets bigger. Inverse means as x gets bigger, y gets smaller.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i was talking about other questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I can't stay long. :/
