hartnn (hartnn):

so after cutting that one pieces, how many vertices are now there, instead of 1 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1------>3 then 8------>24

hartnn (hartnn):

i know there was nothing much to explain divu, but you could just ask whether she could figure that out on her own.... giving answer directly will not help her at all :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually you already did that :D

hartnn (hartnn):

yah, and you gave the answer, which is against the code of conduct ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we know that by the dashed line, there will be only 3 vertices. I got that part. So then that basically means that since there are 8 corners, 8 x 3 = 24, meaning that 24 is the answer right?

hartnn (hartnn):

absolutely correct :) i am glad you understood it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes thank you!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
