OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

A

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

$$ \cfrac{36}{80}=\\ \cfrac{2\times18}{2\times40}= \cfrac{\cancel{2}\times18}{\cancel{2}\times40}=\cfrac{18}{40}\\ =\cfrac{2\times9}{2\times20}=\cfrac{\cancel{2}\times\color{red}9}{\cancel{2}\times\color{red}{20}} $$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

she said a and you say b counfused

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

\( \cfrac{9}{20} \)is the answer \( \cfrac{18}{40} \) can be reduced further, which is what I did above because both 18 and 40 have 2 as a common factor. Let me know if you are still confused.
