Find the torque about the origin due to a force F = ( 1.54 j + 2.77 k ) N acting at the point r = ( 3.91 i + 4.30 j ) m. Enter the torque in component form in N*m (do not enter units).

torque = F x r = (1,54 j + 2,77 k) x (3,91 i +4,3 j) torque = (1,54x3,91)(jxi) + (2,77x3,91)(kxi) + (1,54x4,3)(jxj) + (2,77x4,3)(kxj) jxi = k kxi = -j jxj = 0 kxj =i
so we'll find torque = 11.9 i + 6,02 k - 10.83 j
