Describe the surface in R3 that is represented by the equation y + z = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, the equation you have given can be rewritten as: 0x + y + z =3. Therefore, the "surface" is really just a plane in R^3. Next, since the righthand side is NOT equal to zero, it means that we're dealing with a plane that doesn't pass through the origin-- hence, it's not "homogenous". What else do you need to say about your surface??

All I have to do is describe the surface.
