Hey guys i need help with this graph. It'll draw it up and i have a few questions that follow

whats power equation is represented ? what type of roots do we expect? Are there any double roots ? If so explain.

That will be a cubic equation since it has 2 curves It is a 3rd power equation of the form f(x) = ax^3 + bx^2 + cx + d A 3rd power equation can have a maximum of 3 real roots. Your drawing only touches the x-axis in one place, though, so it has only one real root Yours will also have 2 imaginary roots. It's hard to tell from your drawing. Does the bottom of your right curve just touch the x-axis there in one place? If so it will have a double root there. If it does not touch it will have 2 imaginary roots like I said before.
