im not able to open the txtbook by john guttag for edx 6.00.1

Unfortunately they want you to pay for it this year, though it was free the first time the course was offered. Having read it, I can tell you that it is really not necessary for the course. If you want most of the important material covered in the book you can find it in the handouts for the 6.00 course on MIT's OCW version of the class (where Guttag is actually the teacher that year) here's the link for ya: http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/

Thank you I thought something else had wrong with my laptop 1st the screen then the keyboard toward the last 3 weeks last time around. Thanks for the book reference I had that downloaded last time be couldn't find.
