I'm interested in working on my math skills. I was always very poor in math in high school but now have a desire to learn. Where should I begin? Can someone point me at a course that would suit my beginners needs?

There are many resources on the internet, and the best one for you depends on your personal style of learning. The first place I'd suggest looking is the Khan Adademy:
