how a physician defines dimension

OpenStudy (dan815):

umm

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

A physician is a professional who practices medicine, which is concerned with promoting, maintaining or restoring human health through the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, injury, and other physical and mental impairments. As a scientist they would probably say, a dimension is a space with the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify any point within it.

OpenStudy (dan815):

physician is like a doctor

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The dimension of a vector space (As Rn or C, which are usually used to represent reality) is the amount of parameters (Vectors) necessary to generate every element of space. In classical physics, a physicist would (usually) require 4 dimensions (3 spacial dimensions and one temporal).
