Find the remainder when f(x) is divided by (x - k) f(x) = 4x3 - 6x2 + 3x + 1; k= -2

hartnn (hartnn):

remainder when f(x) is divided by (x - k) is just f(k) so your remainder will be just f(-2)

hartnn (hartnn):

find f(-2) by plugging in x= -2 in f(x) :) what do u get ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on let me do it real quick! sorry

hartnn (hartnn):

no problem, take your time :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
